Skellington, Anyone?by ~trysop

My first completed, finished Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas illustration. Many years of sketches but never a serious attempt at anything complete. Did this today for a friend for her birthday card...

I didn't scan one additional part in - I had some semi-translucent paper that I drew the 'Santa Jack' costume onto (it overlays on top of the card). It turned out ok but I decided not to scan it.

For this piece I used some experimental high-gloss paper. I loved how the marker flowed on it, however the color ate every bit of ink it touched - so you could imagine it was a pretty delicate coloring task.
